As the leading business travel association in the United States, GBTA's federal legislative agenda seeks to advance policies that faciliate travel and tax services fairly.  With the United States Congress in full swing, the House, Senate and Administration are considering policies that impact your travelers and your businesses' bottom line.  On April 14th, hear an update on your Association’s federal priorities, including what we are doing to:

  • improve airport security and immigration processing;
  • oppose $3.2 billion in new taxes and fees on road warriors; and
  • organize your colleagues to advance sound business travel policies.

Gregory McDonald is a Vice President at Cornerstone Government Affairs.  There, he leads a team of bipartisan professionals to advance GBTA's federal legislative agenda.  Greg started his professional career in the United States House of Representatives where he advised a senior Member of the House Appropriations Committee.  Following the Hill, he worked as an attorney at a top-ranked law firm.  Greg also has significant experience in Democratic national politics. He worked on the last four Presidential campaigns as well as congressional and gubernational races in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. Greg received an undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts, a law degree from George Mason University and is licensed to practice in Maryland.
