Over the past few years, Austin and Central Texas has been witness to great economic growth. Austin sure is one of a kind. During this meeting we will review fun facts about Austin, the current workforce, the business environment and some of Austin’s latest successes on companies relocating or expanding in our market and the industries we are attracting going forward.

We will also get an update on Austin-Bergstrom  International Airport on where we have been and where we are going!

This educational meeting will be sure to provide some great insights on this fantastic city and how the Austin Chamber can help with this continued growth.

Speaker: Natalie Croutharmel

Natalie Croutharmel is the Director for the Business Retention and Expansion division of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce. As part of the Economic Development team, she is tasked with assisting the retention and growth of businesses currently located in the greater Austin region from start-up through maturity. Natalie’s responsibilities include corporate expansion project management and facilitating connections between regional business leaders and the city, state, aviation and commercial real estate players.  

Natalie’s goal is to match existing companies with the resources within Central Texas to promote economic growth and job creation.  Overall, Natalie is skilled in public relations within Central Texas and marketing of the greater Austin regional business community.

Prior to joining the Chamber, Natalie interned at the City of Austin’s Watershed Protection Department where she assisted with gathering research and organizing events for the department.

Natalie studied at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in Greensboro, NC where she graduated with a B.A. in Environmental Studies.
