Speaker: Rick Wakida, CTE, CCTE, GLP
Rick Wakida started his career in corporate travel management in 1995 and has managed travel programs for companies in the financial services, biotech, semiconductor, software, and telecommunications industries. He is an active leader in the industry having served as President of the Silicon Valley BTA and Chairman of the NBTA Hotel Committee.
Rick has spoken at various U.S. and international conferences and serves as an instructor for the GBTA Academy’s Associate level course. He is an established source for the industry media having been quoted in over 85 articles and has written several pieces for various publications. Rick holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and an MBA in Finance and, prior to entering travel management, worked for ten years in Finance at Bank of America.
