Airport Communication and Marketing Manager

Sam Haynes is the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport Division Manager for Public Information and Marketing. In this role, she has  direct responsibility for the Airport’s media relations, social media, marketing, website, branding, and serves as the lead spokesperson for the organization. Sam currently leads marketing and communication initiatives for the Airport’s historic, multi billion dollar expansion program that will transform AUS from a medium sized airport to a large one. 

She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from St. Edward’s University and a master of public service and administration from Texas A&M. She grew up in San Antonio, Texas and has lived in Austin on-and-off for the last 13 years and now calls Bastrop home.
